All in all…I would say this vacation was a success. Was it as sunny as we might have hoped? Not so much. Did it rain? A few times. Was a good time had by all? I think so.

One day (a few months ago), my friend Marijke brought up the idea of a winter vacation. After some research it was decided that she is pretty much the smartest person ever and that we must make the appropriate plans post haste.

I’ll be traveling in a few weeks and bought a new carry-on suit case today. I was checking the Alaska Air website to educate myself on their carry-on size restrictions to make sure the newly acquired wheeled duffel bag would be acceptable. (It is by the way.)
