I hadn’t planned on posting today. Quite frankly…I don’t really have much to say.
But then I read this…having been to India it was particularly interesting to me. There are those that say that the caste system in India is outdated and no longer effects everyday life.
Obviously the caste system in India is still very much [...]

Have you heard the saying that your taste buds change every seven years? I’ve always been convinced that is a big load of bull…but I’m becoming a little bit of a believer.
I have always HATED milk. I rarely buy it and if I need it to cook I usually just buy a pint…and even that [...]

Yesterday was April 25th. The previous snowfall record for Anchorage, AK on April 25th was less than one inch. This is my first spring here in the 907…so I do not know what “usually” happens…but I have been told that receiving measurable snowfall this late in the year is unheard of.

***Disclaimer: This blog is the opinion of the author…and well, doesn’t reflect the opinion of anyone but me. I also ask that you forgive me for the unorganized thoughts in this post. I’m tired and a fire in Russia is making my allergies act up. This post is not in response to any ONE comment [...]

*I’ve had the pirate song from the freecreditreport.com commercial in my head for an entire day. It’s making me angry. : )
*Murphy’s Law…my car NEVER makes the noises I hear it makes when I actually take it to the garage and try to produce the noise for the mechanic.
*I have become addicted to the Cinnamon [...]

My sister and I have never been what one might call close. We fought like children will do when we were young…she had kids early in life…and I went away to college a few years later. We have always loved each other…but we have never been what I would call “friends”.
I moved back to Dallas in [...]

(Some might notice that the title of this blog is in reference to a video game…)
(And…SPELLCHECK is back!!!)
Okay…time for a true confession. : ) I’m trying to eat better.
And…I don’t just mean healthier, although that is certainly part of it! I mean BETTER. I have a tendency to way overcook when I have company. Elaborate [...]
